CHAIRPERSON (Trustee) Ellie Richardson

Hi I'm Ellie.

I've had strong personal links to Tomintoul for nearly 30 years and finally moved into the village on a permanent basis in 2020.

I have over 30 years experience working in banking, with 20 of those directly involve with the delivery of group wide change.

Having had the opportunity to take early retirement, I can now been seen walking in the countryside with my two mad spaniels. I am always happy to stop for a chat.

I am excited to to have the chance to to be involved with KaTCA and I am looking forward to working with everyone to ensure that the communities of Kirkmichael & Tomintoul continue to be great places to live, work in and visit.

Hi I'm Karen.

I've been in and out of the village since 1994, however my husband, Jamie, and I moved back in permanently in 2020.

You'll have seen me all around the village as I was busy covid cleaning at the primary schools, pulling the odd pint behind the bar and running the karaoke at The Richmond Arms Hotel. I am currently concentrating on jobs at home and supporting this wonderful community.

I supported my Dad organising the annual Touler 10K multi-terrain running event and it would be great to get it back but it needs an enthusiastic Race Organiser to get going again.

Hi, I'm Martin

I have been a regular visitor to Tomintoul for many years and the village had finally drew me to live here permanently in 2020.

I left the Army in 1988, after which I spent 30 years as a gardener enjoying my time in the great outdoors.

Now that I have retired, I can be found walking with Ellie and our two spaniels, Herbie and Reggie, or pottering around in my garden and making a variety of homely boxes for the wildlife in our area .

I am looking forward to supporting KaTCA, and with my background and experience I'm keen to ensure that the village maintenance remains a priority
